Kemp for Governor Releases First General Election Ad

For Immediate Release

Tuesday, June 7, 2022

ATLANTA – Today the Kemp for Governor campaign released its first TV ad of the general election cycle titled “First,” contrasting Stacey Abrams calling Georgia the “worst state in the country to live” with Governor Kemp’s record of creating jobs, cutting taxes, and leading the nation as the first governor to reopen.

“While Stacey Abrams spends her time calling Georgia the ‘worst state to live,’ Governor Kemp spent the last three years fulfilling his promise to create record jobs and economic opportunity in every corner of our state,” said Tate Mitchell, Press Secretary. “Under Governor Kemp, Georgia cut taxes, returned over $1 billion to Georgia taxpayers, and suspended the gas tax to help families fight 40-year-high Bidenflation. Meanwhile, Abrams wants to raise taxes, supports Defunding the Police, and will say and do anything to use Georgians as a stepping stone to run for president. Stacey Abrams may have missed this while courting liberal billionaires in New York and California, but Georgia is the best place in the country to live, work, and raise a family – and Governor Kemp is fighting to keep it that way.”
